Two blog posts in one day? Haha, I'm playing catch up while I can because from now until New Year I'm going to be super busy at work (BOOOO!) Basically I thought it would be a fun idea to show some Christmas spirit and show you guys what Advent Calendar my favourite woman AKA my mum, got me this year. YES! I am still a big kid when it comes to Christmas and my mum still buys me advent calendars haha.
Me & my mum ADORE Thorntons chocolates so it's essential that every year she gets me the usual Thorntons advent calendar with my name iced on to the bottom of it, you've probably seen them around the shops or any Thornton shops around this time of year. So when she brought me this one home I was pleasantly surprised because I take it, it's a new one! and OMG it's not your average little plain chocolate shapes, it's really full size chocolates from there "Continental" range. (I have died & gone to heaven) So yeah basically a box of chocolates but waaaay more fun!
Here's a close up picture of the chocolates and also box number "25" which is a huge box I'm assuming will probably be a Thorntons bar or little bag of chocolates not sure yet. My all time favourite chocolate would have to be the
"Sicilian Lemon Mousse" (The white chocolate one on the left hand side)
Well worth £10 pretty expensive for an Advent Calendar I suppose but a great one for adults
with its sophisticated look and selection. I am very very happy! You can buy this online or
from any of there stores, probably too late now though, but there's always next year.
Off the subject a little here but I didn't know you could get
cosmetic/beauty advent calendars?
I seen Boots,Benefit,Selfridges and loads of other places doing them and I couldn't believe
I have been missing out! By the time I discovered them they had all sold out. (Always next
year I guess) They do come with a hefty price tag but they are well worth it when I seen
what was inside the Benefit one. So jealous of people who got there hands on one! Al be
more prepared next year guys!
