My new years resolution was to blog every Monday & Tuesday and look, I'm failing already haha. I have been tucked up in bed watching Breaking Bad with terrible Migraines and a kidney infection (Get out the violins) but I am back better than ever haha. It was payday on friday so of course me being me, treated myself with some fabulous online goodies. As well as loads of other new things I've been wanting for a while so look out for tuns of reviews/swatches coming your way soon.
I had been looking for a little while for an under eye concealer since I've tried a few others that haven't worked for me. There is so many choices out there, and I wasn't really wanting to pay a lot for one. Mainly because I don't really have massive dark circles or bags. I wanted it just to refresh my eyes when I was in a rush or throughout the day. If I maybe have been out late the night before I get puffy eyes or little dark circles stuff like that. So like most beauty bloggers I watch a tun of reviews/vlogs/tutorials on youtube to find out what other people like myself think about products.
I narrowed it down to two products which were "Garnier - Caffeine Anti-Dark Circles, 2in1 Tinted Eye Roll-On" and "Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles"
As you can see Garnier's is a ball roll on and Maybelline's is a sponge.
I was totally undecided so I thought the best thing to do was to go out shopping and test them out and see which I preferred. You can purchase either of these from Boots or Superdrug etc. I first tried out the Maybelline one on my wrist and totally hated the sponge applicator. The product refused to come out without force and I could easily see it being a nightmare with drying out. So that was a definite NO from me. I tried the Garnier one on my wrist and it worked smooth and effortlessly and was probably more hygienic. So I purchased the Garnier one in the shade "02 Fair" the second lightest out of the four shades.
I have used it religiously since I bought it and it's definitely been a hidden gem. Why haven't I found this sooner! It gives you immediate coverage and is super long lasting. It keeps my under eyes hydrated and looking fresh and awake. I wake up and put it on if I'm having a no make up day and my eyes look great. I also have done it in the car before going shopping to refresh my eyes. It's the perfect size to keep in your hand bag and it can be easily used while travelling. It's quick,easily and not messy. It's a must have for me now and I will 100% be re-purchasing this again and again. I can't believe it only cost me £5 something fabulous BARGAIN!
