It doesn't seem long ago that I got a massive E.L.F haul and I'm bringing you guys another review of more E.L.F products, but long story short I just love the brand and also trying new stuff. I recently ran out of some stuff so this is a re-purchase plus some new products I hadn't tried yet. E.L.F are always,always,always doing amazing offers so really there's no excuses for over shopping because you don't feel as guilty when offers are on, am I right? I believe they gave me £10 off my order fab,fab,fab!
I'm not going to review re-purchases as I already have, this just shows how much I love them. I re-purchased 2 this time because I wear tinted moisturiser tuns, I really love the coverage and lightness of this one so it's a definite constant re-purchase for me. If you haven't seen my last E.L.F haul review please check it out!
All Over Cover Stick(Apricot Beige):
I stumbled apon the whole "pan stick" "cover stick" craze years ago, and then never really bought it again. As a beauty blogger I spend a lot of time watching tutorials on youtube so I seen a lot of people using cover sticks for contouring. Pretty out of my comfort zone I thought, but when I seen E.L.F's prices I couldn't resist trying it out. "Apricot Beige" is the lightest shade they have to offer, so I thought this would be great for highlighting! (Shade swatch below). The packaging was great and OH MY GOD! the scent is amazing! it actually smells peachy like apricots! (Great touch E.L.F) So I went a head and applied the cover stick to my under eyes,nose,jaw line,chin,cupids bow and my forehead. It was so easy and no mess bonus! I then blended with my blending wedges and just like that you could see the different to my face! This product is without a doubt a re-purchase for me I've used it religiously since and at only £1.50 it's a steal.
Let me start by saying I am a HUGE baked blush addict. I've only recently allowed myself to stray. I bought this product for two reasons, those reasons are 1) People on youtube have been ranting and raving about this product. 2) It looks so similar to one of my all time favourite baked blushes by "Laura Geller". I got this in shade "Pinktastic" which isn't pink at all more white gold with tinges of pink through it. Now your probably thinking what good would that be as a blusher? but I am using it as a highlighter for my cheekbones,inner corners of my eyes and under my brow bones. The packaging is great, I think baked blush just looks beautiful all the colours and the texture haha. I love this product and I am now one of those people ranting and raving about it! I adore this for a highlighter and will probably purchase this in more shades to use as blusher for my addiction haha! £3.75 WOW.
Blending Wedges:
I never really used blending wedges until recently. I'm more of a brush gal. However I have been trying out new techniques which require these so while I was online shopping I added these little savours into my basket. I have used these for a number of things for example: blending my cover stick, applying/blending banana powder, concealer,tinted moisturiser,foundation anything you want I guess. These ones are a great size and quality and the packaging is cute! Totally recommend these for £1.50.
I am loyal to liquid eyeliner, just because it seems to work for me. Sadly it sucks if you want the perfect "winged" eyeliner look, it can be really tricky! For this look most people use cream eyeliner with an angled brush and it looks so easy and effortless. So I decided to pick myself up this little "Cream eyeliner" kit in black. This also included a small angled brush also woohoo! The packaging looks so sophisticated like a high end brand which I liked. The little brush is so handy and adorable. The eyeliner is so soft I only had to swipe my brush once and it went on with ease, it made my eyes look just as good as liquid eyeliner but didn't smudge as easily. I still need to practise more with cream eyeliner and a brush to get my 'Perfect look" but this is definitely a great kit for £3.75!
I have previously bought glitter nail polish from E.L.F and loved it, so I seen this shade online and it looked really different and caught my eye so I had to try it. The size of the product for the price is amazing! You can't get that anywhere else. I was soooo excited to try this as my favourite is "Chic confetti" sadly I was really disappointed. It was totally not what I expected at all. I am really disheartened by it to be honest. I will post swatches below. I applied two/three coats to try and build up the colour but all in all it looked like clear nail polish with a tiny bit of red/clear glitter. I took it off a day later totally didn't like it. If I was going to wear this nail polish again I would apply a coat of pale pink or grey nail polish and then this on top. On a happier note the other nail polishes I've tried so far have been wonderful, I guess you can't please everyone. This product only costs £2.50!
I am really bad for not using eyeshadow primer I know! So I thought I'd try this one out. It has a kind of brush applicator which reminds me of a lipgloss applicator. I swiped it across both lids and then blended with my fingers. It set and dried in a couple of minutes and then I done my eye shadow. It claims to be "crease proof" and it does not disappoint! This is definitely a little hidden gem, I'm very happy with this purchase for only £3.00!
Brushes:
Last but definitely not least! I ADORE E.L.F brushes, they are unbelievable value and quality for the price. So of course I purchased more haha! I purchased:Small angled brush,small precision brush and a studio stipple brush. You could use the "Small angled brush" for eyeliner and eyebrows or lips. You could use the "Small precision brush" for contouring nose area,eyes,lips or concealer. You could use the "Studio stipple brush" for foundation,powder,blush or tinted moisturiser. I love E.L.F's studio line brushes they have beautiful black sturdy handles and feel great to hold. They look very high end. Also the bristles on each brush are wonderful and don't come off easily like other brushes I've tried. I adore the stipple brush as it has a unique two layer bristle design, it can pick up two layers of products to disperse at the same time. Overall I will always love E.L.F brushes and I can't highly praise them enough, so take my word for it! For only £3.75 each!
I am really happy with my recent E.L.F order and I will stay a loyal customer and will re-purchase again!
