Caviar Nails (Review)

28

Hey Everyone!

I have pretty bad OCD when it comes to my nails. They HAVE to be painted at all times! Why? Really I don't know I just hate the way my nails look without nail polish.(Weird I know) As it was my birthday two weeks ago I got some cute little extras off of my family & friends and I received a little 'Caviar' nail set. 'Caviar' nails AKA little beads, were huge a year or two ago but I was never really interested in it and didn't jump on the band waggon. However because I got it given to me as a gift I thought "What the hell?" might as well try it out.

The kit included:
12 bottles of different coloured beads, which I thought was fabulous and great colour selection to suit everyone.
the other package is a bigger bottle of black beads and an applicator. As well as a shimmery silver bottle of nail polish.

I had such a hard time choosing what colour to go for, as they were all so gorgeous but finally decided on a beautiful lilac shade.

Application:

1. Filed and buffed all my nails.
2. Applied a base coat to all of my nails.
3. Applied 2 coats of nail polish to a single nail.
4. Put a bowl underneath my hand to catch the excess beads.
5.  While nail polish is still wet, applied beads with applicator to my nail.
6. Gently pressed them into place and shook excess off.
7.Applied a top coat to the nail and left to dry.
8.Repeated on the rest of my nails individually.

Without Flash.                                                       With Flash.

Overall Opinion:

Initially I thought 'Caviar' nails would be really messy and inconvenient but I couldn't have been more wrong. It wasn't messy at all as all the excess fell into my bowl and at the end I put the rest back in the cute little bottles. As for inconvenience they were absolutely fine to work with and didn't really effect me. The only down side is they do fall off quite quickly bit by bit, which leave your nails looking a little tacky. Mines lasted a couple of hours without some disappearing sneakily! I would say mines were okay for a first attempt and I'm looking forward to messing about with more colours and mixing them together. I wouldn't say this is my favourite nail look but its fun and different! I like experimenting with crazy nails and this is a great gift for me.

Whats your opinion on Caviar Nails, Do you love or hate them? As always Thanks for reading!
