It's that time again, it doesn't seem all that long since I reviewed my subscription boxes but wait... I'm SUPER early to review it? YES go me. I was really excited eeeek! to get my hands on this as I seen a few spoilers online and the box design is so vibrant and amazing!
The theme of this months box was a collaboration with the experts at "Harper's Bazaar." For those of you who don't have a clue what that is, Harper's Bazaar is a famous magazine for woman with intelligence and style all over the world. So basically 'ME', haha just kidding! The box is definitely a keeper for me I love how different it is and might come in handy down the line.
The first item I received in this months box was a luxury travel size of "They're Real!" mascara. This is my absolute favourite mascara I can't really hype it enough and I actually reviewed it not so long ago! I was very happy to get some more of it, the more the merrier in fact haha. I actually am in need of a travel size version as it's perfect for my holidays soon! This product is half the size of the full size which is amazing value for money and the packaging is the exact same but smaller. It is a little pricey for a mascara but so worth it believe me. This was a great way for people to try it out before committing to the full size! You can buy the full size for £19.50.
Nail Lacquer - Soigne:
This is the first full size product I received in my box and I wasn't entirely sure what it was to begin with. This is a new brand for me and the packaging was pretty basic and sophisticated black & white colour block design. It wasn't giving away any hints and I thought it was a perfume sample at first, it was in fact nail polish how wrong I was haha. It was really fancy to open, revealing a gorgeous nude shade called "Creme au Beurre"(ButterCream). We all know how much I love my nudes so this was a dead certain for me! This a non toxic nail polish that you DON'T SHAKE before use. I love this nail polish it is effortlessly gorgeous and classy, I can never have too many shades of nude haha. You can buy this product for £11!
I absolutely love this brand so I was really happy to receive one of there products this month. It's really a hit or a miss with me when it comes to oils as I usually don't stray from my favourites and sadly this one didn't 'WOW' me at all. As I've said before, I hate the concept of putting a beautiful oil on to then shower it off, it totally defeats the purpose in my eyes. (Sorry!) This oil would've been amazing if my bath was working so instead I intend on using it for my foot spa! So I've managed to put it to good use and now my feet are in heaven haha. It is however really pricey for just my feet though so I probably wouldn't buy this. You can buy the full size for £39!
Protect Shampoo & Conditioner - Beauty Protector:
I'm always up for trying new shampoos and conditioners because using the same ones over and over again gets super boring. I keep saying I'll keep little samples for travelling but fail miserably and this was no exception. I have heard of this brand before but never actually tried any products so me & birchbox were on the same page with this one. The word "protect" when associated with hair automatically makes me feel like it MUST be a good thing for my hair haha. I don't have the best hair ever and it is pretty damaged so I welcome anything that gives it some much needed TLC with open arms. These little beauties are: sulfate free, paraben free, vegan, colour safe. And if that wasn't enough they protect the hair from UV rays, enhance volume and revive moisture as well as adding shine and finally seal cuticles. They pretty much tick all the boxes and are suitable for all hair types! To good to be true? ABSOLUTELY NOT. I love both the shampoo and conditioner and they gave my hair exactly the attention it was needing as well as smelling amazing! These are definitely being added to my wish list as we speak. You can buy the full sizes for £14 each!
Last but by no means least! I am no stranger to this brand it happens to be my ALL TIME FAVOURITE when it comes to skincare. I am somewhat of a "Skincare Junkie" I am totally addicted to them and have so many different ones so I change my skin care routine a lot but always come back to Liz Earle time and time again because it's a classic. Liz Earle recently Celebrated 100 awards how amazing! This is without a doubt my favourite product in this months box hands down. Not only did I received a 30ml tube but also the amazing muslin cloth which is a great essential starter kit for anyone who is new to it! Amazing value for money. You apply a small amount to your face in circular motions, and then run warm water over your muslin cloth, wring out excess water and buff over the face and neck in circular motions to remove cleanser, dirt, grime and oil. It smells to die for and leaves your skin with the squeaky clean feel and baby skin soft! I then follow with my Liz Earle "Instant Boost" skin tonic and moisturiser for the ultimate skin care routine! The scent is so relaxing and makes me feel less stressed in seconds, I have re-found my love for Liz Earle again and I'm going to use my Birchbox points to buy the full size YAY! You can buy the full size for £13.25!
Overall Opinion:
This is one of my favourite beauty boxes I've had in months and I'm 100% happy with it. It ticks all the boxes for me and I'm totally in love! Birchbox rarely ever disappoints and they have set even higher standards for competitors with this months box. I've got points to use and there definitely going to full size Liz Earle products haha! I'm not sure how Birchbox could top this month's box but i'm excited to see them try haha. ROLL ON JUNE!
